That’s right folks. We made history last week when a Cake Poker Mobile player became the first person to ever play in a Sit n Go for real money over a phone!
Will Gagnon, a Cake Poker player who has been testing the Cake Mobile Poker application, got the first crack at the latest update which allows for Sit n Go play over the phone.
Last Thursday Will won a $2 heads-up NL Holdem heads-up match on his phone and made history in doing so. Will loved the mobile poker app so much he took it on his boat on Lake Erie over the weekend. The above picture is of course, Will on his boat playing poker on his phone.
Will, along with about 300 other real money mobile poker players are currently testing a preview version of the next public beta release (expected to be released later this summer), which includes:
Sit ‘n’ Go tournaments
Four color deck option
Pre-check/fold
Table position indicator
Buy-in option for multiple of big blind
In-game sit out and reload
Sound effects (optional)
Total pot indicator
Player feedback has been integral to this next release as it is based on Cake player’s advice and suggestions. In the pipeline for later this year, Cake Mobile Poker developers are also expecting to add the ability to play on Blackberry & Symbian devices.
Currently, the Cake Poker Mobile software is in beta testing and is only usable on phones that operate Windows Mobile software. If you are a Windows Mobile user and you want to take your Cake to go, then check out the Cake's Mobile Poker page to learn how to download and play this revolutionary software.
