ESPN Airs World Series of Poker Europe Main Event

Hellmuth at the WSOPE Main Event

As you may or may not remember, the Main Event at the WSOP Europe happened back in October. In the end, it came down to two men, as Barry Shulman eventually beat out Daniel Negreanu to take the crown, and over 800,000 pounds. But before the bracelet was won there was lots of good action at the poker tables. And you can see most of it over the next few weeks as ESPN airs highlights from the main event.

The first couple hours of coverage were actually last night just after the Super Bowl. But since you were probably blissfully drunk or deeply depressed by then, you probably weren't going to watch it anyway. You did miss a couple good moments though, including Phil Hellmuth rolling up to his table dressed as Casear. And just in case that gives you a sense of deja vu, that's because he did the exact same thing at the WSOP in Vegas.

Here's the schedule for the rest of ESPN's WSOPE coverage:

Sunday, February 14th (also Valentine's Day of course) at 11pm EST.

Monday, February 15th, at 12am EST.

Monday, February 15th, at 1am EST.

Sunday, February 28th, at 9pm EST.

Sunday, February 28th, at 10pm EST.

Has the poker brat got a sword by his side? LOL not sure if that's a good idea!

Anyway, do you know if this will be shown in the UK at all?

It seems like it might show up at some point on Sky Poker, but your best bet to watch it might be to take the advice found in this thread at TwoPlusTwo...
